Born on the east end of London, John was in and out of jail several times by age 19. Once out he cashed in on his inclination for fighting by working for mobsters; soon he was working with them. After nearly taking someone's life John realized the dignity of all life and the dire need to change his. At age 27 John celebrated his first Confession and soon thereafter began speaking publically about his journey to faith. John has traveled around the world - to the U.K., U.S.A., Switzerland, Germany, Holland—to name but a few—taking his story about God's abiding presence and sustaining love. John is the author of From Gangland to the Promised Land.
