SJV Habitat Project
Saturday, July 07, 2012, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Coordinator: Social Ministries
Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County is a nonprofit ecumenical Christian organization. Habitat’s mission is founded on the conviction that every family should have the opportunity to own a basic, decent home in which to live in dignity and safety. Habitat partners with community organizations and families to create affordable housing and help develop responsible homeowners and successful neighborhoods.
Currently, SJV is partnering with Habitat by providing financial support and volunteer services to build a home for Sandra Owens and her family. This home is located in the Hamill Crossing community on Champion Forest Dr. and W. Richey Rd. in Northwest Houston.
There’s still time to join our SJV Habitat Team and help us finish the Owens family home. Our SJV team is scheduled to build again at Habitat on Saturday, July 7th from 8 a.m. to Noon. Jobs are available for everyone 14 and older and for all skill levels. Please contact Tracy at 281-497-4434 or if you’d like more information.
