Early Childhood
“And Jesus took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms,
he said to them, "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me,
and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me." ~Mark 9:36-37

Pre-Kindergarten CCE
Beginning at the age of four, children are invited to participate in religion classes with a parent. Parental involvement is vital at this age, so that the lesson learned in class can be reinforced at home by the parents, the child's first educator. Students must be accompanied by a parent or adult at each class. The classes meet twice a month during the school year and provide a basis for future religious education. Each class offers a faith message, craft and prayer opportunities.
Kindergarten CCE
Kindergarten CCE is an excellent introduction to our Catholic Faith. Children participate in religion classes that are geared to instilling a sense that God loves them and that they are members of the church. Bible stories, stories of saints, basic prayers, songs and crafts are the main focus. Parental involvement within the class time is strongly encouraged, with parents invited to attend one of more clases during the year.
Children's Liturgy of the Word
All children in grades K thru 2nd attending the 9:30 am Mass are welcome to attend the Children's Liturgy of the Word.
During mass, just before the scriptural readings, the children are dismissed for their own liturgy of the word in the Ars Chapel. This gives them an opportunity to hear and discuss the day's readings at a level appropriate for their age and grade. What a beautiful way to touch their hearts by sharing God's inspired words with them.
Young Children's Program
The goal of the Young Children’s Program (YCP) is to provide a loving and caring learning environment with Jesus as our model. The Program strives to help children grow spiritually, socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically.

Our staff incorporates age and developmentally appropriate activities: religious stories, values, language arts, number concepts, development of fine and gross motor skills, creative art, music, auditory and visual comprehension skill development, free play and science. For qualifications and pricing, click here. For additional information, contact Carol Madigan or Ann Turner on Tuesdays or Thursdays at (281) 752-2484 or . During the summer, YCP staff will not be in the office; please use the email address to contact Carol or Ann.

We tell stories, make crafts, pray and have fun. Our time is geared for children five years and younger. We meet every Wednesday, except the third Wednesday of the month, in E-8 at 10:30 am.
