Children Clipart

“And Jesus took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them, "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me." (Mark 9:36-37)

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten CCE

Beginning at the age of three, children are invited to participate in religion classes that are geared to instilling a sense that God loves them and that they are members of the Church. Bible stories, stories of the saints, basic prayers, songs, and crafts are the main focus. Parental involvement within the class time is strongly encouraged.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

Sunday 9:30 Mass

We celebrate a Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 9:30am Mass. Children’s Liturgy of the Word essentially is worship.

During Mass, after the opening prayer, the children are called forth by the celebrant and then are sent forth with a trained minister for their own Liturgy of the Word in the Ars Chapel. The children return to worship with their families during the preparation of the gifts.

Nursery

Our role is to provide safe, secure, nurturing, clean and efficient care to your children. The Nursery is open to serve children 6 months to 4 years-old on Sunday mornings from the 9:30, 11:00 and 1:30 Masses.
Groups that meet in the parish must pre-register to have Nursery services provided for children 6 months – 7 years-old. Contact Gabbi Browne (281-497-6665) or to download the registration form.
