*2. Associate Director of Liturgical Music (Full-Time) - The Office of Worship is looking for a full-time Associate Director of Liturgical Music. They will work with the Cabrini Center Pro bono Coordinator and the UICP paralegal to provide “Know Your Rights” presentations and legal screening and assessment for unaccompanied immigrant children detained at facilities operated by contractors of the Office of Refugee Resettlement, Division of Unaccompanied Children’s Services (ORR DUCS) in Houston and Galveston. They will also assist the Pro bono Coordinator in recruiting, training, and provide hands-on mentorship to volunteer attorneys and law students assisting children in asylum, U and T visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. This individual must embrace the mission, vision and culture of the organization. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one (1) year experience in immigration law. Law License required. Spanish fluency required.
7. Director of Senior Services - Catholic Charities is seeking an experienced and mission-driven manager to become an integral part of our leadership team. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of service growth strategies, continuous quality improvement, and licensure compliance and accreditation standards. Successful candidates will have demonstrated commitment to high quality senior services, client satisfaction, staff development and retention, and fiscal management. Three or more years of operational management experience required. Masters degree and professional license preferred. Advocacy, senior center, homemaker and respite care experience a plus.
8. Licensed Counselors/Psychotherapists - Three individuals to work as a team to provide intake, assessments, and service planning for children. Provide group counseling and crisis intervention for children in placement. Requires networking with other mental health providers for in-patient and out patient care of children. Master degree preferred in the field of social work, psychology or human services. LMSW, LCSW, LPC or LFMT required. Two years post graduate experience working with children. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. TDL required.
9. Relief House Manager - Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is seeking a highly qualified person to serve as the Relief House Manager. This individual must have the ability to coordinate, schedule and monitor Villa Guadalupe activities. Be able to work nights (9:00 pm to 6:00 am) and on weekends and holidays. Have some experience in program and staff management, and have at least a high school diploma.
10. Suitability Assessment Worker (Part-Time) - Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is seeking a highly qualified person to serve as a Suitability Assessment Worker. This individual must have the ability to manage the reunification process for children being released from federal custody to their families. The incumbent must be able to assess potential sponsors and their families through Suitability Assessments. The person must also be able to coordinate Follow-Up services, providing referrals and supportive services to legal, medical, mental health and other providers as needed. A bachelor’s degree with some experience and the ability to speak English and Spanish fluently.
11. Foster Parents – Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Program Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is seeking two sets of highly qualified people to serve as Foster Parents. This individual must: provide support and supervision to a maximum of six (6) teenage boys and girls who reside in our program as an unaccompanied minor designated as a refugee, an asylee, or a victim of human trafficking. The incumbent must have two (2) or more years of experience, the ability to work a flexible schedule, and at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
