Junior High Youth
Because you're never too young to follow Jesus, we've set up a Jr. High ministry that brings God to life in the midst of fun and meaningful activities and events. It's more than about just getting together and having fun. By meeting other teens who see God as an important part of their lives, we will form a community that will be there to support us, help us, and encourage us in our journey! To accomplish these goals, St. John Vianney has set up various programs directed toward our Junior High youth.
Learn it
In our Junior High CCE program, students continue with the Call to Faith series with an emphasis on developing community and prayer, leading them to a deeper knowledge of their Faith and Jesus Christ.
Live it
All Junior High students at our parish are invited to our Junior High “Word Up” Bible Study and “God’s Image” hang night on Wednesday’s in the Youth Lounge. No matter what your age, you can be an example of what it means to be a young Christian in the world today. We have a great time on Wednesday nights playing games, sports, having talks and activities and more – but most importantly, it’s about learning who God is calling us to be, and responding to that call. Word Up starts at 5:30 and God’s Image is from 6:30 – 8:30. Kids are invited to bring $5 for pizza and drinks.
