The women’s club was formed in May of 1969 for all women of the Parish. Its purpose is to bring the women of the Parish together to foster relationships, comradery and to participate in the spiritual and apostolic life of the parish.
We invite you to read the following list to give you an idea of what the Women’s Club is about:
Our meetings are usually on the first Friday of the month from September through May, at 9:45am (Following the 9am Mass) and are held in the Activity Center-Adult Lounge. Our guest speakers address topics which are spiritually and socially relevant to our members.
We plan Fall and Spring bus trips to area places of interest to the membership.
We have an annual card and games party, the proceeds of which added to our dues, fund our charitable giving.
We host an annual Day of Prayer, open to all women of the parish.
We participate in the Northwest Deanery of Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women. (NWACCW)
We have Catholic Clerical Student Fund (CCSF) Mass Cards available which support the seminarians at St. Mary’s Seminary.
We also attend Mass and Lunch with the seminarians at St. Mary’s Seminary
We donate gift-filled shoe boxes to the Seaman’s Center at Christmas time and attend the Seaman’s Center Christmas Mass and
luncheon with Cardinal DiNardo,
Our members assist with various activities in the parish including the Bazaar and Parish Dinners.
