Epic: The Early Church

This dynamic 11 part “conversation” will lead you on a powerful, fast-paced journey through the first 500 years of Church history. You will meet courageous saints, eloquent theologians, ruthless emperors and heroic martyrs.

  • Discover the major people, places, and events of the first 500 years of Church history
  • Recognize the emerging four marks of the Catholic Church
  • Discover that many of the challenges facing the Church today are the same ones boldly confronted by the early Christians
  • Learn how the heroic stories of the saints can challenge and affirm your own walk of faith ..…and much more!

Early Church history is the story of western civilization. It is an epic drama with adventure, triumph, tragedy, saints and sinners. As heirs of this great civilization we have an obligation to preserve and hand-on our heritage. To do this we must first know it!

Presented by: Steve Weidenkopf, the creator and co-author of the Epic – A Journey through Church History program and a lecturer of Church history at the Notre Dame Graduate School of Christendom.

There is no fee for “Conversations.” All materials are provided.
