Educational Workshop on Memory Loss

Please join us for the first in a series of Workshops designed for caregivers and family members caring for an older adult, and those who might soon be caring for a loved one.  Our first workshop is titled Memory Loss: Early Recognition and Intervention, and it will be presented by Becky Villarreal from Interfaith CarePartners®.

Becky is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Geriatric Care Manager, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and the Alternate Administrator for Care Partners Together. She has been working with Interfaith CarePartners® for 13 years doing Care Team Coordination and Development of new Care Teams.

The main topic to be addressed in this workshop will be the Stages of Memory Loss, particularly:
*  What to expect at each stage
*  The role of the caregiver
*  Issues that may arise in each stage
*  Survival tips for caregivers
