Over the course of eight Main Course presentations, Unlocking the Mysteries presents the “big picture” of salvation history, frees us from the narrow limits of our contingency and opens us to a communion beyond time and reminds us that we are people of the Word.

This session covers the remainder of Genesis and the stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph – the forefathers of Israel. The central feature of this period is the everlasting covenant God establishes with Abraham. The threefold promise of land, kingdom and worldwide blessing forms a framework for the events in the rest of the Bible, which demonstrate how God fulfills these three promises.
