Over the course of eight Main Course presentations, Unlocking the Mysteries presents the “big picture” of salvation history, frees us from the narrow limits of our contingency and opens us to a communion beyond time and reminds us that we are people of the Word.

Israel finally enters the Promised Land however they do not obey God and fail to teach their children about God. After one generation, a cycle begins in which Israel sins, falls into servitude, cries out for help and is then rescued. After 7 cycles Israel clamors for a king. This period covers the reigns of Saul, David and Solomon and ends, sadly, with the sins of Solomon and the looming division of the once-glorious kingdom.
