A lecture series on the Reformation which will highlight its historical impact on the Catholic Church and western culture in general and, on the ongoing struggle with the effects of the Reformation. Mr. McNeil offers a sympathetic but critical look at the Reformation through the lens of his personal experience of growing up in Protestant Christianity and the eventual struggles that would cause him to question the primary reasons for and teachings of the Reformation.
Mark McNeil holds Master’s degrees in Scripture, Theology and Philosophy. He is a popular speaker and has appeared on EWTN, The Journey Home broadcast. Prior to his reception into full communion with the Catholic Church, in 1999, Mark was a minister in the Assembly of God community. He currently serves as Assistant Principal at Strake Jesuit College Prep. school and also teaches part-time at the University of St. Thomas.
