Walk for Life

Thanks to all of our parishioners who braved the weather and came out for our 3rd Annual Walk for Life hosted by SJV’s Respect Life Ministry on Saturday, April 18th.
Deacon Randy Graham led us in a Rosary for Life as we walked, prayed, and witnessed for life at Terry Hershey park.  Over 100 parishioners, including many families, children, and even pets participated in the walk.  We were blessed to have a little break from the rain.  In spite of the wet ground and a little bit of mud, we forged ahead and raised our voices in prayer.  We also raised over $850 for SJV’s Gabriel Project, which provides services for expectant mothers in need.  It was a truly joyful experience!  If you missed it, please plan to join us next year!

“It is God who gives life.  Let us respect and love human life, especially vulnerable life in a mother’s womb,” – Pope Francis, May 15, 2013.
