St. John Vianney looked like this?
My first visit to St John Vianney was Easter Sunday 1986. I had been raised Catholic but never joined the church and had not attended mass since high school 21 years earlier. Father Joe homily was on “the return of the prodigal son,” a favorite of his. After hearing it, I knew I had to come back. The next week Father Tom’s homily was on “Doubting Thomas.” Been coming back ever since (though I must admit not every Sunday). That’s why St. John Vianney is such a special place for me.
The rectory and front office — amazing how “hidden” they are now with all the growth of the trees!!
What was the building to the right of the church?
