We are young men and women who understand we have a role to play in living our Catholic faith. We are middle school and high school students who seek a deeper understanding of God’s love and know that we have unique gifts to share. We serve others, we pray, we offer connection for each other and our community. We know our faith journey is a mission and an adventure, and we enthusiastically walk in the footsteps of Christ.
Our vision in fulfilling this missionary call is through sacramental worship, evangelization, and serving those in need. We are building the kingdom of God in the hearts of the youth of St. John Vianney through our Middle School Ministry (Sunday Nights, CCE, Summer Camp), High School Ministry (Sunday Nights, CCE, Service, Confirmation), and many other opportunities!
Our goal is that the High School teens play an active role in our community and that they know they have a place within Christ and His Church. As they set on their journeys to and through adulthood, our hope is that they come to know, love, and live out their faith and be living testimonies that being a Catholic is special, empowering and worth it. Middle School: Because you are never too young to follow Jesus, our Youth Ministry brings God to life in the midst of fun, meaningful activities, and events. It is more than just getting together and having fun. By meeting other teens who see God as an important part of their lives, we will form a community that will be there to support us in our journey!
