January 22, 2021 marks the 48th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion throughout all months of pregnancy in the United States. In the wake of Roe, legal abortion in our nation has claimed the lives of more than 60 million unborn children.
On January 16 Respect Life volunteers will erect white crosses outside the entrance to SJV to commemorate the lives of the children lost since abortion was legalized in 1973. The crosses remind us to pray for the end of abortion and for a greater respect for all human life. Join us as the crosses are blessed and we pray for a full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life.
For everyone’s safety and well being, we askparticipants to wear a mask and keep a safe distance from others not within their family group. Click here to review our health and safety protocols.
Please do not park along the driveway, as this blocks the flow of traffic. Ample parking is available in the North parking lot.
“The promotion of the culture of life should be the highest priority in our societies…If the right to life is not defended decisively as a condition for all other rights of the person, all other references to human rights remain deceitful and illusory.” ~St. John Paul II
