January 22, 2020 marks the 47th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion throughout all months of pregnancy in the United States. In the wake of Roe, legal abortion in our nation has claimed the lives of more than 58 million unborn children.
On January 17 Respect Life volunteers will erect white crosses outside the entrance to SJV to commemorate the lives of the children lost since abortion was legalized in 1973. The crosses remind us to pray for the end of abortion and for a greater respect for all human life. Join us as the crosses are blessed and we pray for a full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life.
Please do not park along the driveway, as this blocks the flow of traffic. Ample parking is available in the North parking lot.
“Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what it wants.” – St. Teresa of Calcutta
