Respect Life volunteers will erect white crosses outside the entrance to SJV to commemorate the lives of the more than 60 million children lost since abortion was legalized in the United States on January 22, 1973.
Join us on Sunday, January 23 at 4:50 pm as the crosses are blessed and the Knights of Columbus & Respect Life volunteers lead us in prayer for a greater respect for all human life and for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life. Now more than ever we have reason to gather and pray, as we await for a just decision from the Supreme Court on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health.
Please do not park along the driveway, as this blocks the flow of traffic. Ample parking is available in the North parking lot.
“We pray that our ministry is one that brings hope to others, a hope not based on human wisdom or strength, but on the love of God revealed in the embryo conceived in the womb of Mary – the baby born in the cave in Bethlehem, the man who through his ministry freed many from the enslavement of sin, who ultimately gave his life for us on Calvary and who vanquished the power of death through His Resurrection, the ultimate victory of life.” – Archbishop Joseph Naumann
