Did you know that we have a special needs ministry for children here at St. John Vianney?
We have two special needs CCE classes each week. The Sunday CCE class at 9:30 am was created especially for elementary-age children who have intellectual disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorders and Down’s Syndrome, as well as Attention Deficit Disorders.
On Monday at 6 pm, there is a CCE class for older children with cognitive disabilities. If you have a child that is struggling in a “typical” CCE class, or you have been looking for a class for your child with autism, these classes may be an option.
We also help with sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, using adaptive curriculum and accommodations.
