Hurricane Harvey Recovery

Home Blessings

If your home was damaged due to Hurricane Harvey and the floods, your parish would like to come and pray with you and ask for God’s blessing for you, your family and your home.
Lay ministers and clergy will be sent to parishioners’ homes that were damaged and had to be rebuilt and repaired to pray and ask for the Lord’s blessings.

To schedule a home blessing, please contact the parish office, 281.497.1500.

Long term Support

SJV’s Disaster Relief Ministry, along with the HOPE Network and several ministries and groups within the parish, are assisting parishioners and neighbors with the long-term recovery.

If you have been affected by the flooding and are in need of assistance, please contact Social Service Ministries at 281.497.4434 or email us. Please be sure to provide us with a phone number where you can be reached during office hours.

DONATE

As so many of our staff, parish leaders and volunteers are flood victims or had to evacuate, we have created a Hurricane Harvey Disaster Fund in our efforts to mobilize much needed assistance in our community. Please make your donation to St. John Vianney Disaster Relief.
