As a concert artist, Mike has graced the stages of prestigious venues for organ performance both in the United States and abroad. Notable recent engagements include the Orgelkunst Series in Magdeburg Cathedral, L’Église de la Madeleine in Paris, Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, and the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe in Orlando.
His academic background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Houston, a Master of Music from Rice University, and a Bachelor of Music from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. His training in organ performance was under the guidance of revered mentors such as Robert Bates, Ken Cowan, Jack Mitchener, and Matthew Dirst.
