The St. Monica’s Society was formed as a support group for mothers just like you. The purpose of this society is to welcome families with school-age children (elementary through college) into the parish, to provide an opportunity for families to gather for social, educational, service and spiritual growth while supporting the community around us.

“Do not fear, I am with you.  Do not be afraid, I am your God.  I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.”  ~ Isaiah 41:10

We understand the busy life of a mom with school-age children and we know your time is precious. Come as you are available and let us nourish your mind, body and soul.

Below are short descriptions of some of our activities and programs:

Monthly Gatherings:

St. Monica’s Society meets monthly in St Jude Hall on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 11:30am-1:00pm. Each of our meetings provides a delicious complimentary lunch and an opportunity to socialize with friends and learn from a speaker about a topic that is relevant to our group. We hope to see you so

Girl’s Night Out:

During the year we have a Girls’ Night Out (GNO). It’s a great opportunity to socialize as well as meet other members of St. Monica’s while having an evening out.

Bible Study & Spiritual Activities:

St. Monica’s members participate in bible studies directly through the Parish.  We also have an Adopt A Seminarian program where we pray for our seminarians.

Meals for Moms:

St. Monica’s members are eligible to receive meals for their family in times of need and support.

Adult Events & Socials:

During the year, we gather for social activities such as our Annual Christmas Party, priest dinners, progressive dinners, and other themed events. It’s always a great night out and a fun opportunity to socialize with our members.

St. Arnold’s –  An affiliated men’s group for St. Monica’s husbands.

Parish Service Activities:

Throughout the year, the parish calls on St. Monica’s members for assistance with various activities. These activities include bringing desserts for various Parish dinners, volunteering at a Bazaar booth, serving food at family fun nights, making kids meals and many other Parish activities as needed.
