St Monica’s Society

St. Monica’s Society is a place for women with school-aged children to grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, and enjoy fellowship together. Through faith studies, inspiring speakers, social gatherings, service opportunities, and family activities, we strive to support one another in our walk with Christ and in the joys and challenges of this season of life. There is something for everyone, from time to pray and grow in faith, to opportunities to connect, laugh, serve, and simply enjoy one another’s company.

This is a strong reminder for us that above all things in our life, our aim is union with God; above the schedules and busyness, above our family and work obligations, above any pleasure or joy. GOD is our everything. When we feel overwhelmed or lonely, our only response is to turn to Him; there, we will find the comfort, fulfillment, and peace we long for.

We understand the busy life of a mom with school-age children and we know your time is precious. Come as you are available and let us nourish your mind, body and soul.

Ways to Get Involved

• Monthly General Meetings – Enjoy lunch, fellowship, and speakers who share practical and inspiring topics that pertain to our faith and our everyday lives.
• Meeting Podcasts – Catch up on the monthly meeting through our podcast if you’re unable to attend in person.
• Faith Studies – Grow deeper in your faith through meaningful studies and opportunities to learn and pray together.
• Girls’ Nights Out – Member mingles, game nights, crafts, and other fun opportunities to build friendships.
• Couples’ Nights Out – Enjoy time together as couples through events such as our Progressive Dinner and Valentine’s Day Blessing.
• Daytime Mahjong – Pop in once a month and bring something to share for lunch. Enjoy fellowship, and a friendly game of Mahjong.
• Daytime Lunches – Casual opportunities to connect with other members over lunch.
• Pop In & Pray – Come for a moment of prayer, spend time with the Lord, and go about your day.
• Service Opportunities – Put our faith into action through projects such as the Gabriel Project Baby Shower and delivering flowers to widows.
• Family Activities – Bring the whole family together for fun events such as our Back-to-School Pool Party.
• Husband Events – Opportunities for husbands to build fellowship through priest meet-and-greets, basketball and dodgeball, speakers, and other social gatherings.
