A: A pilgrimage is meant to be a spiritual journey, not a vacation. The goal is to grow closer to God through prayer, sacraments, community, and visiting holy places.
A: Yes. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of January 12, 2027, so July 13, 2027.
A: ETIAS is a planned travel authorization system (visa) for entering many European countries. If active by our departure date, travelers will likely need to apply online before departure. Our agency will advise closer to departure date if this will be required.
A: No, this trip is for any Young Adults between the ages 18-35, however, priority registration will be given to SJV parishioners.
A: Please print, fill-out and sign the last page of your brochure (registration page). Attach a copy of your passport photo page*, include a $1,000 deposit check, payable to: Catholic Travel Centre, and then please FedEx, noting No Saturday Delivery and marking Direct Signature Required, to:

A: No. Online registration is not available at this time.
A: $1,000 per person by check or credit card (Visa or Mastercard only).
A: We request that all registrations are completed by the end of June. That allows us to reserve the accurate number of hotel rooms and flights.
A: You will find on the upper right side of your registration page a section called Payment Information. You will see that the final payment is due to the California CTC agency by September 4, 2026
A: For the Land and the Air portion, your amount will be $4,154 total if paying by check, or $4,393 total if paying by credit/debit card.
A: It means airfare is not included and travelers arrange their own flights.
A: $3,254 total by check/money order, or $3,493 total by credit/debit card
A: Yes. The $155 gratuities charge covers guides, group meals at restaurants, hotel porters, the driver, and tour manager.
A :Incidentals such as laundry, meals not included in the program, travel insurance, red SJV travel polo, $5 per person for each mass stipend, $5 per person for priest’s gift, optional IAH roundtrip airport shuttle (price to be determined once registrations have concluded), any additional entry fees/train tickets on our “Free Day”, taxi/Ubers, passports, visas.
A: Yes, economy seating and placement by the airlines is offered in the Full Package only.
A: Some meals are included, but not all. Meals included are marked as B (breakfast), L (lunch), and D (dinner).
A: Yes. The trip involves considerable walking on cobblestone streets and uneven pavement. Tennis shoes are suggested and accepted at all activities.
A: With the new Entry/Exit system (EES) being activated in Europe before Passport Control, one of the questions they can ask is for proof of travel insurance. Please make sure you are covered at least by the minimum coverage. Once your registration packet has been received, you will be sent a letter acknowledging your acceptance to our pilgrimage and how to go about searching for the travel insurance that best works for you.
A: Pilgrimages are actually one of the best environments for meeting people because everyone shares a common purpose and schedule. We will have additional meetings prior to our pilgrimage so hopefully you will be in town and able to join us. It’s a great way to know others prior to the start of the pilgrimage.
A: Yes, unless there is an odd number of participants and no roommate is available (it usually works out for all). If you decide to pay the single supplement fee of $695, it will be based on availability.
